A Wood County veteran’s decades of military service will be celebrated later this month during a retirement event at Heroes Ranch.
Theresa Hairston, co-owner of Lake Fork TackleShack, will be honored during a retirement celebration Saturday, June 27, at Heroes Ranch. Family members, fellow veterans and community supporters are expected to gather for the event, which will recognize Hairston’s military career and her family’s long tradition of service.
According to Hairston approximately three dozen guests are expected to attend the celebration. The program is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., with guests arriving starting at noon.
The event will highlight not only Hairston’s years of service, but also the military legacy within her family.
Located in Wood County, Heroes Ranch serves veterans, first responders and their families through retreats, events and outdoor experiences. The retirement celebration is expected to bring together veterans from across the area to honor Hairston’s commitment to military service.
