May Fiesta coming to Mineola

Mineola celebrates May Fiesta on Saturday, May 6 in the downtown area from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Events include a pepper eating contest, candy cannon throw, Brianna Arteaga Mariachi Real, DJ New Mazter, classic car show, folkloric and Aztec dancers, food trucks, artisan shopping and more.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
