To the editor:
I’d like to applaud the Brookshire pharmacies for continuing to deliver accurate, timely and courteous service to their customers.
Anyone who has held a job knows how difficult it can be on some days to take care of all the duties, details and directives during normal times. Add the additional stress of a yearlong pandemic. Then layer on the very important job of delivering the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, only to be capped off by also working in the second round of vaccine injections. All without an increase in staffing or hours worked.
These Brookshire employees seem to be superhuman, and we are so fortunate to have them in our neighborhoods. Keep up the great work, we need you!
With great appreciation, a member of the Mineola community,
Valerie McCullin
