Historical commission holding contest for county students
The Wood County Historical Commission is having a contest to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the county.
The contest is a community history research project for K-12 students. Students may pick up information at their school districts or home school students may pick up information at their local libraries.
The competition and program will be Tuesday, Oct. 28 at the Carroll Green Civic Center in Quitman.
