Early voting underway for constitutional amendments
Early voting for the state constitutional amendment election and Hawkins ISD tax ratification election is underway at the Wood County elections office in Quitman and continues through Friday, Oct. 31.
This is the only location for early voting.
On Election Day Nov. 4, voting will be held at the respective precinct polling locations only.
Some precincts have been combined.
Early voting Oct. 24 and 25 is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and again from Oct. 27-29 (no weekend voting).
Extended early voting hours will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 30-31.
Those are also the voting hours on Election Day.
