Don L. Hollis 1952-2026

A graveside service for Don L. Hollis, 74 of Lindale, was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Pilgrim Rest #2 Cemetery in Alba, with Gary Johnstone officiating. 

Don passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 in Tyler. He was born on Feb. 9, 1952, in Monticello, Ark. Don has lived in Lindale for over 30 years and was previously of Commerce. He was a retired conductor with Union Pacific Railroad, the general chairman of the United Transportation Union and a member of the Masonic Lodge and the First Baptist Church of Swan. In his spare time, Don enjoyed his dogs and was a gun and motorcycle enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Hollis; wife, Judy Sherwood Hollis; sons, Bill and Tracy Hollis; and granddaughter, Ashley Anne Kulik. 

Don is survived by his daughter, Brandy Hollis and Josh Herrera of Big Sandy and by numerous other loving family members and friends. 

Family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
