The Daughters of the American Revolution Elizabeth Denton English Chapter welcomed the Texas Society DAR State Regent, Susan Johnston, to their December program and Christmas tea. She acknowledged 35 years of the chapter’s existence in Mineola and commended the chapter for their presence and service to the community throughout the years. A few notable acts of service from the chapter include donations to the Bonham VA, cleaning veteran headstones, donations of canned goods for food banks, and sending birthday cards, Veteran’s Day cards and Christmas cards to veterans. Pictured are members of the chapter with Johnston.
