Lady Jacket relay returns to state meet
The Mineola Lady Jackets 4x400-meter relay team is headed to state. The team of Carmen Carrasco, Tanner Hartzog, Shylah Kratzmeyer and Raylie Peebles improved their area-winning time by three seconds to record a 4:04.63 second-place finish and book their place in Austin.

Jackets win play-in game
Mineola Yellowjacket righthander Kaden Bell dealt a masterful performance Monday night in Grand Saline by going the distance in a 6-0, four-hit shutout of the Quitman Bulldogs. The win unlocked the post-season for the Jackets and ended the Bulldogs season.

Queen City eliminates Mineola in two games
