Police officers spread Christmas cheer to county children
The Blue Santa program put on by the Wood County First Responder Association took 50 children shopping at Walmart on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Each had $400 to spend. Participating law enforcement agencies included Mineola ISD PD, Yantis ISD PD, Winnsboro ISD PD, Winnsboro PD, Mineola PD, Hawkins PD, Quitman PD, Wood County SO, State Game Wardens, DPS and Grand Saline fire marshal.
