October 15
Sgt. Cox, criminal trespass, FM 17; store owner wanted neighbor trespassed from property, deputy made contact with subject, trespass warning issued.
Deputy Williams, motorist assist, Hwy. 69; caller struck deer with vehicle, deer still in roadway, deer removed from roadway, vehicle towed per owner’s request.
October 16
Deputy Haley, suspicious circumstance; caller’s cow walked into snare on property that he did not place, four other snares located on property, game wardens notified.
Sgt. Skinner, Deputy Tustin, agency assist, Winnsboro; Winnsboro PD they had vehicle pulled over with five occupants, all were arrested.
Deputy Knox, welfare concern; property owner advised she had low mobility but refused EMS or APS.
October 17
Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Smith, Deputy Vanatta, warrant service, Hwy. 37. Richard McLemore arrested on active warrant.
Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Smith, warrant service, CR 2377. Darrell Shirley arrested on active warrant.
Sgt. Williams, Deputy Gloar, assault, CR 2954; victim came to hang out with boyfriend, who had been drinking, became upset and assaulted her, offense report completed.
October 18
Deputies, disturbance, CR 3494; caller’s son became upset, threatened to harm her, deputies spoke with son who appeared calm, advised he did not want to hurt anyone, parties separated.
Deputy Gloar, welfare check, Private Road 5937; caller had not heard from sister in a while, concerned about her, deputies located her at residence where she advised she was fine.
Deputy Beck, agency assist, Mineola; Mineola PD requested assistance for warrant service, deputies located subject, placed in custody.
October 19
Deputy Gloar, theft; caller’s friend has her personal items including debit card, has refused to meet with caller, used debit card without permission, deputy discovered offense occurred in another county, advised caller contact them to make report.
Deputy Whisenhunt, suspicious person, Hwy. 154; person sitting outside store all day talking to himself, deputy located subject walking, advised he was waiting on friend, subject transported to friend’s house.
Deputy Whisenhunt, damage to property, Holly Lake Ranch; subject cut off caller at gate, struck their vehicle, no damage to their vehicle.
October 20
Sgt. Espinoza, Deputy Hammond, Deputy Knox, disturbance, Hwy. 154; deputies located subject who was having mental episode, transported to receive treatment.
Deputy Haney, disturbance, Holly Lake Ranch; caller and grandson got into argument that turned physical. Dean Brown arrested for assault family violence.
Deputy Haney, vehicle fire, Hawkins; caller had video of suspect lighting his truck on fire, offense report completed.
October 21
Deputy Hammond, traffic stop, Hwy. 182; standard field sobriety tests conducted on driver. Sterling Sanders arrested for DWI.
Deputy Knox, theft; caller went into gas station, when she came outside, vehicle was gone, dealership where car was purchased advised they did not repo it, offense report completed.
Deputies, warrant service, CR 3265. Clayton Pasteka arrested on active warrants.
Deputies, warrant service, CR 4575. Rachel Brassfield arrested on active warrants.
