September 14

Deputy Morrison, warrant service, County Road 1813. Victoria Hunt, 37, Yantis arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Croney, theft, Hwy. 154; gate missing from property, caller believes previous owner stole it, wished to pursue charges, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Sepulvado, theft, someone opened electric utility account in caller’s name and using the service, awaiting more information.

Deputy Croney, disturbance, County Road 1560; victim went to speak with father-in-law, got into argument, became physical, suspect used piece of wood to assault victim, shot at him. Robert Roach, 63, Alba arrested for aggravated assault with deadly weapon.

September 15

Deputy Pollard, criminal mischief, Alba; caller advised friend broke into his vehicle, caused damage, witness watched suspect messing with ignition, awaiting damage values.

Deputy Whisenhunt, disturbance, Holly Lake Ranch; victim and wife had argument earlier in the day, when he came home, they got into another argument, victim believes wife was intoxicated, pushed him, left residence, suspect not located.

Sgt. Williams, assault after the fact, hospital; victim advised while at bar, men began to beat him after he wouldn’t leave. Deputies had previously seen security footage which did not line up with victim’s statement, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, theft, FM 2869; male walked in, took beer, told clerk to charge it to someone else’s account. Deputies could not make contact with suspect.

September 16

Cpl. Baldwin, theft, County Road 3880; someone had stolen copper wire from property again, caller advised about $40,000 in damage and theft, no known suspects.

Deputy Rapp, theft, Private Road 5551; woman who was squatting on property stole golf cart, other items, neighbors stated they saw golf cart at nearby residence. Deputies located stolen vehicle and suspect. Nguyen Tarin, 42, Mineola arrested for theft.

September 17

Deputy Hughes, theft, Hwy. 80; victim picked up female walking, took her to hotel, suspect asked for keys to vehicle, took off with vehicle. After suspect and vehicle were located, victim did not wish to pursue charges.

Deputy Mayer, theft, County Road 2503; victim had to take shredder off tractor, left it behind, shredder missing, victim had two possible suspects, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Gould, theft, County Road 3984; victim went out of town with girlfriend, when he came home, trailer was gone, neighbors had video of vehicle coming onto victim’s property, victim had possible suspect, case forwarded to investigations. 

September 18

Deputy Rapp, theft, County Road 1987; during the night someone stole equipment off boat, did not have suspect, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, Private Road 7850; aggressor wanted son and girlfriend to move out of residence, property owner posted eviction notice to the individuals.

September 19

Deputy Whisenhunt, theft, Holly Lake Ranch; during the night, neighbor stole victim’s mother’s car, took check from her checkbook, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Burdick, disturbance, County Road 1739; homeowner’s son began arguing, left before deputies’ arrival, caller did not wish to pursue charges.

September 20

Deputy Whisenhunt, criminal trespass, FM 2869; business owner advised workers in area dumping trash in her trash receptacle, using her water to fill barrels, company manager notified, advised issues would not happen again. The caller wished to file criminal trespass if incident happens again.

Deputy Whisenhunt, disturbance, County Road 1590; victim got into argument with boyfriend, as she tried to leave room, he hit her, suspect left residence before deputies arrived, victim wished to pursue charges, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Morrison, theft; caller advised store in Greenville made agreement with customer to buy furniture. Due to a mistake, furniture was delivered without payment, customer has refused to pay, case forwarded to investigations.
