Deputy Hughes, shots fired, County Road 1813; male had shot three times into the air, female stated neighbors began yelling at her, as she was yelling back, the male came out of her house and shot up in the air multiple times. Video footage showed incident on camera, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Croney, identity theft, Hwy. 37; victim advised received bill from loan she did not take, needed report to dispute loan charge. 

September 1

Sgt. Milbourn, burglary, County Road 2940; victim’s husband who does not live at residence entered building, started disturbance, suspect fled before deputies’ arrival, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Morrison, warrant service, Private Road 6113, wanted person had injuries, transported to hospital. 

September 2

Deputy Williams, report; caller received pictures of house being listed, noticed carport missing; notified that the person living at residence had sold carport, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, terroristic threat; victim and wife eating at restaurant, heard person make disturbing comment toward them. Deputy unable to contact suspect.

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, Private Road 7131; caller’s son trying to break into bedroom, assault her husband, victim advised father kept getting in his face, slamming the door, victim stated would not cause more problems, parties separated.

September 3

Sgt. Cox, criminal trespass, Hwy. 288; homeowner provided game camera footage of male on property, did not know suspect, residence placed on extra patrol.

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, Burton in Hawkins; two females started yelling at her that her brother owed them money, left scene before deputies’ arrival.

September 4

Deputy Rapp, theft, Holly Lake Ranch; victim paid contractor to do work at residence, did work he was not asked to do, charged homeowner for it, then removed the supplies, took them to his residence, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Williams, disturbance, County Road 1813; victim and mother got into argument over vehicle, then pushed each other to the ground, kicking each other. Victoria Hunt, 37, Yantis arrested for assault family violence.

September 5

Cpl. Baldwin, disturbance, Jarvis; male in victim’s room refused to leave when asked. After security arrived, male removed, began pushing security officers, officers advised they were assaulted, suspect attempted to flee. Christon Himes, 22, Mt. Pleasant arrested for assault on security officer.

Deputy Croney, animal bite, County Road 1297; victim advised riding bikes when dog chased, bit her on calf, dog owner could not provide vaccine records, written citation, told the dogs must be housed in clinic for quarantine.

September 6

Sgt. Milbourn, traffic stop, Hwy. 154; observed vehicle with tail light out, discovered license plate did not belong to vehicle, container of alcohol visible near passenger’s foot. Daylon Roberts, 22, Sulphur Springs, Texas arrested for DWI.

Deputy Crone, animal complaint, County Road 4105; victim found his dog shot in enclosed yard, one of his ex-friends had threatened to shoot dog, might be suspect, case forwarded to investigations.
