July 27

Deputy Williams, disturbance, Hwy. 154; victim advised she got into argument with boyfriend, he hit her in the head. Deputy observed bump on victim’s forehead. Sgt. Cox interviewed suspect, observed no markings on him indicating he assaulted victim. No arrest made.

Deputy Gould, theft; caller advised ex-employee stole items from worksite, no list of stolen items provided, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, theft, County Road 2935; father stole small items from caller’s house, wished to have incident documented, did not want to press charges.

July 28

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, County Road 3840; party involved went inside residence after being asked not to, came outside, deputies began speaking with him, reentered residence. Constable McQueen discharged taser, had no effect; suspect lit gasoline on fire inside residence, causing constable’s shoes to catch fire. After flames put out, suspect detained, transported to hospital for burns, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Williams, dispute, Holiday Villages; homeowner requested female criminally trespassed from residence, female successfully trespassed, given transport away from residence. 

July 29

Deputy Hughes, disturbance, County Road 3960; victim arguing with suspect over motorcycle, began to push each other, suspect held female down. Both parties wished to file for protection order, suspect not located, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Croney, theft, Hwy. 154; person tried to sell item to victim. After suspect left, stole power washer from neighbor’s yard, caller got picture of vehicle, license plate.

Deputy Pollard, burglary, Private Road 6645; caller advised gone from residence two weeks, observed items missing, believes landlord took items, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Pollard, burglary, County Road 4460; caller observed multiple items missing from residence, provided list of items, case forwarded to investigations.

July 30

Sgt. Milbourn, disturbance, Clear Lakes; parties having argument over property in storage unit, advised is civil matter.

Deputy Morrison, suspicious person, Holly Lake Ranch; young female came into store, asked for money, had run away from parents. When cashier came back, female had left store. 

July 31

Deputy Pollard, burglary, County Road 4586; caller left house she was watching, when she returned, it had been broken into, advised to have homeowner file report.

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, FM 779; boyfriend intoxicated, assaulted victim, unable to get statement from suspect, refused to speak. Joshua Taylor, 39, Whitehouse arrested for assault. 

Deputy Croney, theft report; caller’s friend hacked computer, took bank information. Deputy unable to reach caller again for additional information. 

Deputy Morrison, animal complaint, Lake Hawkins; observed dog inside vehicle that was not running but had windows cracked, dog removed from vehicle, owner given warning not to leave vehicle off while animal inside. 

Cpl. Cooper, traffic stop, County Road 3145; observed vehicle fail to signal twice, located multiple pills inside single bottle. Amanda Luster, 35, Texarkana arrested for possession of dangerous drugs.

Deputy Rapp, suspicious vehicle, County Road 3978; vehicle parked in driveway with no license plates, confirmed stolen. Caller gave suspect ride to different house before deputy’s arrival. 

August 1

Deputy Williams, harassment; caller had video of person at residence harassing him. Deputy did not observe harassment, victim wished to file criminal trespass against the suspect, suspect successfully trespassed. 

Cpl. Cooper, burglary, County Road 2275; ex-husband broke into house, stole money. Victim left house, suspect not there when deputies arrived; neighbor called, victim texted her that suspect was inside house, did not come outside, deputies made forced entry, suspect located inside residence with victim. Brian Reichel, 27, Mineola arrested for burglary and violation of court order. 

Cpl. Cooper, traffic stop, Mineola; observed vehicle with brake light out, driver observed acting nervous, admitted having paraphernalia, located bag with crystal substance. Laura Cooper, 49, Mountain Home, Ark. arrested for possession of controlled substance. 

August 2

Deputy Gould, theft; caller advised someone stole equipment on County Road 4150, advised to bring documents to get incident reported.

Deputy Baldwin, fraud, FM 312; victim received letter from work force saying she made claim, has possible suspect, advised to call back with more information from work force.

Deputy Hughes, disturbance, FM 49; victim and brother got into argument, brother later came home intoxicated, punched victim multiple times, suspect not located, case forwarded to investigations.
