Loyd Everett Chaffin

1929-2016

Funeral services for Loyd “Bud” Chaffin, 87, Rowlett were held Saturday at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro with Rev. Ken Ashlock officiating.

Burial followed in Cypress Cemetery in Franklin County.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Lou Chaffin, Rowlett; daughters Paula Horne and Brenda Jillard; four grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
