Volleyball players awarded all-academic state honors
Quitman’s Lucy Brannon received a certificate for being named to the Volleyball All-Academic team by the Texas Girls Coaches Association. Student-athletes had to be a senior with at least a 92 average in her academic classes. Also earning the honor from Wood County were Tahjae Black, Valerie Garcia and Alyssa Lankford from Mineola and Abby Hallman and Hope Wiley from Alba-Golden.
