Virginia Lee O’Quinn, 1937-2019

Funeral services for Virginia Lee O’Quinn, 82, of Lindale, formerly of Golden, were held at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 at the Golden United Methodist Church with Pastor Michael Mize and Pastor Jim Pickens officiating. Interment  followed in the Sand Springs Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.

Virginia passed away Friday, Oct. 4, 2019 in a Lindale nursing center. She was born in Wood County to the late William Matthew and Vina Mae (Ballard) Fletcher and was a longtime resident of Lindale. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene G. O’Quinn in 1986.

Virginia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia & Richard Bellar of Lindale; son & daughter-in-law, Graham and Sylvia O’Quinn of Golden; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Mamie Fletcher of Tyler; sisters-in-law, Kathy Fletcher, Carolyn Fletcher and Wanda Fletcher; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Kids Day School, c/o First United Methodist Church Lindale, P.O. Box 367, Lindale, Texas 75771.
