The University of Texas at Tyler Department of Art and Art History announces a spring 2018 bachelor of fine arts exhibitions featuring paintings and sculpture in varied mediums including work by a Mineola student.
“This group of graduating seniors (all) have intriguing stories to tell and views to share and they express them beautifully through their artwork,” said Michelle Taff, media and gallery coordinator. “We welcome students and visitors to enjoy these exhibits, which are in partial fulfillment of the UT Tyler bachelor of fine arts degree.”
“Honest Perspective” opened Monday, April 9 at the UT Tyler Fine Arts Complex Gallery. Featured degree candidates are Lauren Pitre of Mineola and Madison Branch and Kayla Reesor, both of Longview.
A public reception with artist talks will be 6 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at the gallery. The exhibit concludes Friday, April 20.
