Service honored
The Wood County Child Welfare Board and Child Protection Board honored past members for their service Oct. 3 at Jim Hogg Park in Quitman by having a brick in their name placed on the walkway to the gazebo and given a plaque. Being honored were the late Mike Hearn, Sam Scroggins, Tracy Edwards and Karyn Margos. Current board members in attendance were Sally Attaway, JoAnn McMillan, Bonnie Cameron, Ange Everett, Jared Yeager, Sandra Endsley and Sharon Brooks. Above, family of Mike Hearn.
