Service honored
The Wood County Child Welfare Board and Child Protection Board honored past members for their service Oct. 3 at Jim Hogg Park in Quitman by having a brick in their name placed on the walkway to the gazebo and given a plaque. Being honored were the late Mike Hearn, Sam Scroggins, Tracy Edwards and Karyn Margos.
