Rejuvenated Bulldogs gain post-season honors

The Quitman Bulldogs’ success this football season led to several players receiving post season honors. Quitman ended the season with a 4-6 record which was the best in the past decade.

Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Shane Webber was pleased with the all district selections.

“I thought we were well-represented at the district meeting considering we only won one district game. I know the other coaches in our district took notice on what we had happening here at Quitman just by the comments that were made throughout the year, and by the representation at the all district selection meeting,” Webber said. “We can no longer fly under the radar and we have to keep moving forward this spring to get better for next year. That includes coaches as well as players. We cannot afford to take a step back next year if we are going to get this program where we want it to be.”
