Quitman Rotary Club honors students

The Quitman Rotary Club has announced Students of the Month for December for Quitman High School. They are Judith Delgadillo and William Brannon.

Delgadillo is the daughter of Miguel and Cristina Delgadillo of Quitman. She is active in student council, Anchor Club, UIL History, cheerleading and volleyball. She has been Anchor club treasurer and a member of student council for three years. She has done a variety of community service for Quitman Caring and Sharing and at Camp Shiloh.

Delgadillo plans to attend the dental hygiene program at Tyler Junior College and after receiving her associate degree, plans to earn a bachelor’s degree from University of Texas at Tyler or Texas Women’s University.

Brannon is the son of Emily Attaway, Quitman and is active at Quitman High School in One-Act Play, FFA Wildlife, UIL Science as well as current Events, Student Congress, 4H Entomology and Anchor Club.

He plans to attend Texas A&M College Station majoring in biochemistry. After graduation he plans to attend graduate school for a Master’s Degree in Pharmacology or go to medical school.
