Quitman Police Report
The Quitman Police Dept. answered 315 calls for service between Feb. 10-28, issued 70 traffic citations, gave 104 traffic warnings, took 13 reports and made one on-sight arrest and one warrant arrest.
February 12
Officer Matt Al-Flaih initiated a traffic stop in the 100 block of Hart St. Driver Elizabeth Wall had a parole violation warrant and was taken into custody and transported to the Wood County Jail.
February 28
Officer Al-Flaih initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of E. Goode St. Driver Wendy Karina Canas Rameriz was given a field sobriety test and arrested for driving while intoxicated.
