Quitman business celebrates grand opening
Your Service Center in Quitman celebrated its Grand Opening and Customer Appreciation Day on Wednesday, Oct. 22, offering oil change specials, service discounts and the top-tier experience of Papa T’s BBQ as a thank you to the Wood County community.
Timothy Maples, owner of Your Service Center, worked at the automotive repair shop for five years before taking over ownership last year. Before moving to Quitman he worked in the oil field and served 24 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, retiring as a gunnery sergeant.
“I served in the Corps to serve my nation, and now I’m doing this to serve my community and my fellow man,” Maples said. “We have a hand-picked team here and we strive for perfection. It’s an impossible feat, but our customers and family come first with us. We are all about honesty, integrity and transparency.”
George Torres, owner of Papa T’s BBQ in Alba (151 E. Quitman Street, 903-765-9016), brought out his food truck to serve his award-winning barbecue brisket, pulled pork and sausage meals.
Your Service Center offers automotive repair services from oil changes to complex engine repairs. They offer a 10% discount for military personnel, educators and first responders.
