AMOS “SKINNY” TRUETT

Funeral services for Amos Eldon Truett ( Skinny), 83, of Quit- man, were held February 12, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home in Quitman with Brother Fred Morrow officiating. Burial was held at Concord Cemetery. Mr. Truett passed away February 7, 2016 in Bonham. He was born December 20, 1932 in Winnsboro to Thomas and Mary Truett. He lived in Quitman his entire life, where he was a farmer. He was also a veteran of the US Army and a member of Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Truett; and granddaughter Peri Truett.

Survivors include son, Lewis Truett of Kaufman; three daughters, Rhonda Lunderman and Barry, Jeanette Britton, and Pamela Sikes, all from Quitman; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
