Pamela Sue Mitchell, 1952-2021

Pamela Sue Mitchell passed away Aug. 25, 2021 in Longview following declining health issues for years. She was born in Sulphur Springs July 5, 1952. She had resided most of her life in Mineola before moving to Longview to be closer to her family.

She was of Baptist faith and attended Mineola schools. In her youth she could fly over the hurdles in track with her long skinny legs and red hair flowing in the breeze. She had a beautiful voice and always enjoyed singing you a good song. Her heart was full of love for her beagle hound Otis and the numerous stray cats she rescued through the years.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Frances and T. W.  Mitchell, and her siblings, Mike Mitchell, Roger Mitchell and Judy Mitchell Furrh.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Mitchell Turner of Longview, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Turner Cemetery.
