Norma June Gatlin Leach, 1931-2020

Services for Norma June Gatlin Leach, 88, of Mineola were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020 at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Byron George officiating.

Interment was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Alba.

Mrs. Leach passed away July 30, 2020 in Mineola. She was born Sept. 15, 1931 in Mabank to Henry and Minnie Blackmon Gatlin. Norma had lived in Wood County since October 1977 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Mineola. She volunteered at Richardson General for 17 years and at ETMC for 30 years.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Sonny Gatlin.

Survivors include her son, Joe Leach of Mineola; daughter, Cathie Smith, of Alba; two sisters, Maxine Pope of Cedar Hill and Jima Leach of Mineola; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home in Alba.
