Mineola school board honors students, staff
At the Monday, Oct. 19 Mineola School Board meeting the following honors were recognized:
Primary School Students of the Month – First graders Jose Lerma and Jaycee Williams
Elementary School Students of the Month – 4th graders Tatum James and Juliane Hoff
Middle School Students of the Month – 7th graders Jonathan McKinley and Kaylynn Burge
High School Students of the Month – Juniors Emily Melvin and Jack Levi Heard
Support Staff of the Month – Albert Gutierrez-transportation
Teacher of the Month – Heather Kinsel-elementary 4th grade
Principal Appreciation Month was also recognized – High school Michael Sorenson and Jeffery Tittle, middle school Kendall Gould and Joshua Snook, elementary school Brittany Thompson and Angela Shine and primary school Jole Ray and James Knabenshue.
Superintendent Cody Mize said it has been a great start to the school year and added congratulations for winning performances the prior weekend by the football and volleyball teams and Sound of the Swarm marching band.
