Women's Missionary Auxiliary meets at Myrtle Springs
On July 8 the Women’s Missionary Auxiliary met at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church. The WMA song and motto were led by Annette Stedry with Becky Elliott at the piano.
The district WMA project is the Texas Baptist Home for Children. The offering of $101 was sent to the home. The state project is purchasing heavy equipment for use on the college grounds.
There were 28 in attendance and the banner went to Myrtle Springs. Charlotte Johnson of Gilmer gave the program. New officers were elected. Jackie Ricks is the president and Sue Reed the reporter.
The next meeting will be at Central Baptist Church and the theme will be “My Cup Runs Over” from Psalms 23:5.
