April 8

12:06 a.m., assist other agency, CR 2425, attempted burglary, homeowner shot at subjects, on look out for suspects.

12:21 a.m., suspicious vehicle, 6000 blk Hwy. 37, roadside park, strong smell of marijuana, no contraband found.

12:48 a.m., assist other agency, Meredith, unknown medical alarm, subject yelling for help, kicked in door for EMS access.

7:32 a.m., assist other agency, Wren, patient went with EMS.

9:22 a.m., unknown offense, NE Loop 564, kids throwing rocks at cars, spoke to children and grandparents, party does not wish to file charges, no damage to vehicles.

9:50 a.m., found property, 400 blk Sycamore, wallet turned in.

1:22 p.m., found property, University, returned wallet from prior call.

4:00 p.m., harassment, 300 Greenville, subject advised that no crime occurred, criminal trespass warning could be issued.

7:58 p.m., suspicious person, male on four wheeler, unable to locate.

9:17 p.m., reckless driver, FM 49 at Loop 564, unable to maintain lane, no signs of impairment observed. 

April 9

1:16 a.m., vehicle stop/arrest, 200 blk NW Loop 564, Kayce Johnson arrested for driving with license invalid.

4:23 a.m., drunken suspect, W. Front, 911 call hang up, trying to report drunken driver, unable to locate.

5:38 a.m., runaway, Clara, granddaughter left house, unknown location.

8:39 a.m., public assist, E. Broad, door laying in road, removed.

12:21 p.m., unknown offense, 1200 blk Bromberg, four wheeler, unable to locate.

1:10 p.m., theft, NE Loop 564, man parked in pickup area, opened trunk, took items from store and left.

5:08 p.m., trespassing, NE Loop 564, two females in parking lot asking for money, male in vehicle, all three issued warnings.

6:48 p.m., welfare concern, NE Loop 564, subject did not come to work, subject is OK.

7:41 p.m., suspicious vehicle, S. Newsom at Henry, vehicle unoccupied.

7:43 p.m., public assist, 400 blk S. Pacific, debris in roadway, removed.

11:05 p.m., motorist assist, Old Tyler Hwy., two vehicles, everything OK.

11:34 p.m., suspicious vehicle, Nature Preserve, subjects left area, officers located broken restroom door. 

April 10

3:06 a.m., public assist, 900 blk N. Pacific, roadway debris, cleared.

7:36 a.m., unknown offense, Laura, follow up.

10:23 a.m., motor vehicle accident, NE Loop 564, hit and run from April 3-4.

10:29 a.m., welfare concern, N. Pacific, subject passed out in vehicle, Jacob Tyler Honea arrested for warrant.

12:05 p.m., motorist assist, E. Kilpatrick at Newsom, vehicle parked in roadway, moved.

12:51 p.m., theft, E. Broad, Playstation pawned in Athens.

3:52 p.m., alarm, Brenda, residential.

3:53 p.m., alarm, Brenda, spoke to homeowner about fixing alarm that goes off regularly.

5:42 p.m., public assist, 400 blk W. Patten.

5:53 p.m., alarm, Brenda, everything secure.

6:34 p.m., assist other agency, Greenville, EMS.

7:13 p.m., welfare concern, Sue, 911 hang up, everything OK.

7:14 p.m., suspicious persons, N. Newsom, several people dancing, no offense occurred.

8:43 p.m., welfare concern, NW Loop 564, child became upset and left location, children found.

10:13 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville, questions about alarm. 

April 11

3:01 a.m., city ordinance violation, 1200 blk Bromberg, tenants upstairs making noise, unable to locate.

10:05 a.m., welfare concern, Krause, employee did not show up for work, person is OK.

10:25 a.m., assist other agency, Spring Lake, accidental alarm.

10:43 a.m., information, N. Newsom, subjects came to property looking for dog, directed patrol issued.

3:51 p.m., alarm, Brenda, no officer needed.

4:50 p.m., theft, 100 blk E. Front, wallet stolen from vehicle.

5:31 p.m., assist other agency, E. Hwy. 80 at Loop 564, two-vehicle traffic crash, one vehicle left scene, unable to locate.

5:41 p.m., reckless driver, S. Pacific at city limits, high speed, unable to locate.

9:20 p.m., city ordinance violation, Phillips, someone burning, unable to locate. 

April 12

7:10 a.m., assist other agency, NE Loop 564 at FM 1801, three-vehicle traffic crash.

8:34 a.m., inquest, Mimosa, subject deceased.

2:55 p.m., civil matter, South, request to speak about neighbors.

5:57 p.m., alarm, 900 blk W. Patten, unable to locate.

6:12 p.m., reckless driver, S. Pacific at city limits, unable to maintain lane, unable to locate.

8:55 p.m., suspicious person, Spring Lake, person in yard with flashlight, everything OK.

9:30 p.m., assist other agency, 1000 blk S. Pacific, assist sheriff’s office.

9:59 p.m., found property, NE Loop 564, cigarette with pills in bathroom, retrieved item.

10:07 p.m., assist other agency, assist sheriff’s office. 

April 13

1:42 a.m., motorist assist, 1000 blk S. Pacific, 4-wheeler returning to residence.

12:19 p.m., information, Nature Preserve, vehicle in parking lot.

2:47 p.m., assist other agency, E. Broad, EMS for female who fell out of chair.

6:50 p.m., alarm, Landers, everything OK.

8:07 p.m., vehicle stop/arrest, 100 blk N. Pacific, Garret Gaylord, Quitman arrested.

10:15 p.m., disturbance, Meadowbrook, male and female yelling, both highly intoxicated, advised to go inside.

10:33 p.m., disturbance, Robin, parties from prior call came back outside, yelling at neighbor.

April 14

8:02 a.m., reckless driver, 300 blk E. Broad, swerving at slow speed, gone upon officer arrival.

8:30 a.m., disturbance, Edwards at University, possible incident over dog issue, owner will not come to door.

9:41 a.m., suspicious vehicle/person, N. Pacific at Loop 564, possible drunken driver, unable to locate.

12:32 p.m., alarm, Landers, no one at home, appears to be locked and secure.

2:21 p.m., found property, NE Loop 564, phone with wallet attachment, owner picked up.

4:40 p.m., reckless driver, Hwy. 37 South, weaving, unable to locate.

8:48 p.m., suspicious vehicle, Nature Preserve, seeking directions to camp site.

10:54 p.m., alarm, S. Pacific, doors locked and secure.

Officers also made 50 traffic stops and 38 animal control calls.
