This year we have three exciting tour stops planned:
- The first stop on the Tour will be Chamblee Rose Nursery, Tyler, TX
- Second stop will be Mineola Nature Preserve to tour the Demonstration Gardens and Rainwater Harvesting. Lunch will be at the Mineola Nature Preserve, Mineola, TX
- Third stop on the tour will be Woodland Cattle Ranch, Alba, TX
The Tour will assemble at 8:15 a.m. at Jim Hogg City Park, Quitman for Registration. Coffee will be furnished by Wood County Electric Cooperative and Donuts will be furnished by The Wood County Soil and Water Conservation District. The buses will leave promptly at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be sponsored by Wood County Electric Cooperative. Other sponsors for the 2015 Ag Tour include the Wood County Extension Office, Leadership Advisory Board, and the Wood County Industrial Commission.
The Registration Fee for this Tour is $10.00 per person. If you can attend, we ask that you RSVP by Friday, September 25, 2015, by calling the Extension Office at 903-763-2924. This will reserve your seat on the chartered bus and assist us with the meal count for lunch.
