The playoff-bound Mineola Lady Jackets ended the regular volleyball season Friday with a 3-1 victory over the Grand Saline Lady Indians.

Coupled with last Tuesday’s 3-1 win at Eustace (25-17, 18-25, 25-21, 25-18), the Lady Jackets finished the season tied for the district title with Eustace and Malakoff.

Mineola played an extra match on Saturday in Grand Saline to determine playoff seeding, which Eustace took (25-19, 25-23, 28-26).

Against Grand Saline, Mineola raced to a two-set lead, 25-14, 25-13 only to have Grand Saline extend the match with a 25-23 win. Mineola took care of business in the fourth set, 25-15, to earn a share of first place at 10-2.

Mineola faces Tatum in the first round of the state playoffs on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Tyler Junior College.
