Services for Micheaul DeWayne "Mickey" McIntosh, 70, of Emory, were held December 27, at Believers' Baptist Church, Emory, with Chris McIntosh and Rev. Jason Roland officiating.

Burial was in Rock Hill Cemetery, Quitman. Mr. McIntosh passed away December 21, 2013, at his residence.

He was born December 6, 1943 and had served in the Army as a paratrooper in the Special Forces during the Vietnam War. He was also a water superintendent at Silverleaf for 19 years and lived most of his life in the Alba area, until moving to Emory 10 years ago.

Mr. McIntosh was a member of the Paratroopers Association in Quitman, and had served on the Alba-Golden School Board. He was a Sunday school teacher, and a member of Believers' Baptist Church, Emory.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Micheaul DeWayne McIntosh, II, and sister, Sylvia Caho.

Survivors include his wife, Caroline McIntosh of Emory; sons, Joseph Paul McIntosh of Plano, and Christopher John McIntosh of Emory; daughter, Melissa Zieleniewski of Quinlan; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson and numerous other relatives and friends.
