Lady Owls nip Miller Grove 42-38
Ashten Burnett hit for 15 points and Maggie Hooker connected for 12 the Yantis High girls basketball team edged Miller Grove 42-38 on Dec. 19.
The visiting Lady Owls also benefited from Maddie Hooker’s eight points and seven from Sydney Williams. The win gave the Owls a record of 1-1 in district play.
