Deputy David Hitt was dispatched to a location on CR 4930 for a reported theft of crude oil. According to the reporting party, approximately 65 barrels of oil was missing from a storage tank on the property. The value of the stolen oil is listed as $6,500. Hitt collected items of evidentiary value at the scene and the case was forwarded for additional investigation.

Deputies Terri Altman and Donivan South were dispatched to an address on CR 2437 for a theft complaint. According to the complainant, he placed an online order on November 23 which he never received. When he called the company to complain, he was provided with USPS tracking information showing the package was delivered on December 3. The value of the missing package is $40. An incident report was completed for documentation purposes.

Deputies Terri Altman and Donivan South was dispatched to CR 3565 for a theft report. According to the complainant, he had arrived at his mother's property the previous night to find that several pieces of scrap metal and other miscellaneous items including a box blade, a lawnmower, a washer and dryer and a Kawasaki motorcycle missing. Value of the missing items is $1,875. Altman was able to locate where a barbed wire fence had been cut to allow access. This case is now in the hands of an investigator.

Sgt. Sam Threadgill was dispatched to a residence on FM 2869 in response to a 9-1-1 call just after 1:00 a.m. in which the caller stated four males had come onto her property but left when she walked onto her porch with a shotgun and fired several times. Threadgill was advised that the four males fled in two directions. According to the property owner, her residence had been burglarized earlier in the year and approximately $15,000 in property had been stolen. The woman further stated that she believed the four subjects who fled from the property were likely the same ones responsible for the earlier burglary. Threadgill attempted unsuccessfully to locate the subjects. After clearing from the scene, Threadgill was contacted by the woman who stated that a pick-up had pulled into her yard and sat there, leaving only when she walked out onto the porch. The woman witnessed the truck driving slowly, stopping several times as though looking for someone. A description of the pickup was provided and attempts will be made to locate it.

Deputies answered a total of nine calls including one child custody dispute, a report of a dog problem, a report of horses out and two reports of noise disturbance.

Deputy Aaron Warren took a report of reckless damage from a complainant who resides on CR 2198. According to the complainant, his wife had moved out of the residence five days prior and he had discovered that before she left she had opened Christmas gifts, destroyed the contents and then rewrapped them. Damage was estimated at $500. The case has been forwarded to CID.

Sgt. Chris Turner and Deputy Aaron Warren were dispatched to the Sears store on Loop 564 for a disturbance in progress. They arrived to find that an angry customer was yelling and cussing at a sales associate. The customer was uncooperative and continued his aggressive behavior towards the deputies. Repeated attempts to calm the man and obtain his identification were unsuccessful. Norman Keith Clark, 60, of Mineola, was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct and was transported to jail.

Deputy Tony Ingram was dispatched to Pioneer Exploration on SH 154 for a burglary of a building. According to an employee, a piece of equipment was stolen from an enclosed trailer during Christmas break. The equipment is described as an "SRL" which is a self-retracting lifeline use by workers on top of a rig. The value of the equipment is $3,242. This case was forwarded to an investigator and remains under investigation.

Deputy Dustin Moffett took a burglary of a building report from Let's Roll skating rink in Golden. The complainant stated that she arrived to open the business for the night and found $65.00 missing from the cash register. Entry into the building was gained through a side door which appeared to have been pried open. The case has been forwarded to an investigator.

Sgt. Sam Threadgill took a report of a possible violation of a Protective Order. According to the reporting party, a man currently jailed on an assault charge, and the subject of a standing Protective Order, had requested she pass a message to the victim he is charged with assaulting. The case has been forwarded for additional investigation to determine if an offense did occur.

Deputies Terri Altman and Donivan South were dispatched to a vacant rental home on Hwy 80 for a burglary of a habitation. According to the property owner, he had arrived at the home after a two week absence to find the outside air conditioner condenser unit, valued at over $7,000, missing. Items missing from inside the home include an electric stove and a hot water heater. Also missing was the back entry door to the garage. Total value of the missing and damaged property is $8,505. This case is now in the hands of an investigator.

Deputy Justin Wallis was dispatched to an uninhabited residence on CR 1970 for a burglary of a habitation report. The reporting party stated that the residence belongs to his deceased parents and he comes to check the property periodically. On this date, he arrived to find the window A/C unit missing and the window left open. He also found the back door unlocked. Once he entered the residence he observed that someone had gone through all the drawers. A jewelry cabinet and a china cabinet were found to be missing from the residence. Outside the residence, oxygen and acetylene bottles that had been next to a shop building were found to be missing. This case was forwarded for additional investigation.

Sgt. Sam Threadgill and Deputies David Hitt, Justin Wallis and Dustin Moffett were dispatched to a residence on FM 515 in response to a 9-1-1 call in which a woman claimed her brother had pointed a shotgun at her during an altercation. Geremiah Anthony Thompson, 23, of Quitman, was arrested for deadly conduct and transported to jail.

Deputies Terri Altman and Donivan South attempted a warrant service at an address on Cedar Cove at Holly Lake Ranch. During the attempt, the wanted subject ran out a back door and escaped into the woods with both deputies in pursuit. The subject failed to comply with the officers' repeated commands to "stop". A Game Warden later made contact with the wanted man when he was seen walking in the woods near where his vehicle was parked and detained him until deputies arrived and took him into custody on the original warrant. Clark O'Brian Davis, 30, of Hawkins was transported to jail and an additional charge of evading arrest was added.

Sgt. Chris Turner took a report of burglary of a building on Hwy 37 at Trader's Village. Multiple storage units at the location were burglarized including five units that were currently unrented. According to the complainant, not all of the tenants had been contacted therefore there was no information concerning loss of property. The case has been forwarded to CID and remains under investigation.

Deputy Tony Ingram took a report of burglary of a habitation from a complainant who owns a weekend cabin on CR 4896. According to the complainant, he had not yet found anything to be missing from inside the cabin even though items had been moved around. He did, however, find 90' of copper cable missing from behind the cabin. Items of evidentiary value were collected at the scene and forwarded to an investigator for the development of leads. The case remains under investigation at this time.

Deputy Aaron Warren took a report of burglary of a habitation from a complainant who resides on PR 6980 who stated that he had returned home after a three hour absence to find three guns missing from inside the house and various other items relocated inside the house. Entry appeared to have been gained by using some sort of tool to turn the doorknob which had been locked at the time the complainant left the property. This case has been assigned to an investigator.

Deputy Kevin Atkinson took a report of debit card abuse from a complainant who stated that he had been notified by his bank that several credit accounts from multiple retailers in California were being opened in his name. The complainant stated that he did not authorize the accounts and had no involvement with the activity. An incident report was completed for documentation purposes.

Deputy Tony Ingram was dispatched to a residence on CR 1941 for a report of a stolen vehicle. According to the complainant, a 1999 Toyota Camry was missing from his property and he believed he knew who was responsible. The man stated that the property was a bank repo as was the Camry and he suspected the car's previous owner of taking it. Information was recorded about the suspect and the case has been assigned to an investigator.

Sgts. Jacob Richardson and Josh O'Grady recovered a stolen Grizzly 550 4-wheeler along with a stolen Yamaha 4x4 and a dune buggy. The recovered property was reported stolen out of Camp and Franklin County. The case is currently under investigation with the Camp County Sheriff's Office and the East Texas Auto Task Force.

Sgt. Josh O'Grady obtained warrants for individuals in both a possession of stolen property case and a case of criminal trespass.

Sgt. Carolyn Tanner prepared 216 destruction orders for presentation to the District Judge for signature. An additional 85 destruction orders were prepared for submission to the District Attorney's office and 62 orders were received and prepared for destruction.
