Kratzmeyer returns to state meet
Abby Kratzmeyer of Mineola prepares to pole vault at the district track meet. She cleared the bar at 13 feet in the district meet and also won the area and regional meets. The senior will be going for her third state pole vault championship Thursday morning at 11 a.m. in Austin. Last year’s meet was canceled. Her goal is to keep jumping 13’ and hopefully jump a little higher at the state meet, and “get a record maybe.”
