KeJuan Fite qualifies for state power lifting meet
Mineola senior KeJuan Fite will compete at the boys state power lifting meet on Saturday, March 27 at the Taylor County Expo Center in Abilene.
Fite was regional runnerup in the super heavyweight class with lifts totaling 1,535 pounds.
Fite recorded a 660-pound lift in the squat, bench pressed 425 pounds and had a dead lift of 450 pounds.
Also placing in the region from Mineola were Dalton Hamilton, 10th in the 114-pound class with lifts totaling 520 pounds, Mateo Renard in the 132-pound class with lifts totaling 935 pounds and Kaleb Barton in the 198-pound class with lifts totaling 1,255 pounds.
