Jane Ann Lee, 1940-2020

Jane Ann Lee, 80, was met by the loving arms of Jesus in her heavenly home Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020. 

Jane was born to Theo and Inez Wilder in Quitman on March 21, 1940. 

She married her soulmate, Joe Lee, on Feb. 15, 1959. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Jane was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, an active member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and a great friend to many. Above all, Jane loved her Lord and spent her days living out her faith. 

Jane is survived by her loves, husband, Joe of 61 years; son, Kyle and wife Linda of Quitman; grandchildren Stacy Hightower and husband Chris of Muenster and Katie Skinner and husband Matthew of Martin’s Mill; great-grandchildren, Reese Hightower, Nathan Skinner, Rozlynn Hightower and Luke Skinner; and sister, Judy Dalton and husband Mike; along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of her life was held Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 at Forest Hill Baptist Church in Quitman. Visitation was at 10 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. Brother Terry Davis officiated. Interment was at Roselawn in Mineola immediately following. 

Pallbearers are Chris Hightower, Matthew Skinner, Reese Hightower, Nathan Skinner, Luke Skinner, Robert Lloyd and James Blackburn.
