Game cameras are a great way to protect your property when monitored security systems are not an option. Game cameras can be purchased at most discount and sporting goods stores as well as purchased online for as little as about $50. Cameras with higher megapixels, wider angles, and longer range can cost anywhere from $100 to $300. While game cameras are a great crime fighting tool, they are only operational for the life of the batteries which must be checked regularly and replaced when needed. Several recent burglaries occurred where game cameras were in place, but were not operational due to dead batteries.
