By the time you read this we will be well into the month of July. The weather cooperated as the historic Stinson House repairs and exterior painting were completed. I hope you can stop by and admire the fine color selections that were used. Roof replaced, painting completed, gardens being reconfigured, and now we can move on to planning our next event and welcome guests as they come by to visit or sightsee on Wednesdays.
If you do not use Facebook, I need to tell you about our new phone line. Should you have any questions about the days and times we will be open, or to schedule an event, you can call us at 430-235-5461. Leave a message. We will return your call as quickly as possible.
Looking to the future, we are now accepting donations (no clothes or shoes please) for our annual Fall Yard Sale. You may leave donations on the front porch or bring them by on a Wednesday when we will be at the Arboretum. As you drop your items off make sure you take a minute to admire the “bloomers” that were not run out of town by our hog attack. The gardens are recovering.
Stay cool, come by and see us on any Wednesday. The coffee is on.
