Fite places 9th at state meet
Mineola senior KeJuan Fite placed ninth at the state power lifting meet in Abilene last week.
Fite had lifts totaling 1,470 pounds including 575 pounds in the squat, 445 pounds in the bench press and 450 pounds in the deadlift.
Fite competed in the super heavyweight class. He had the second best bench press among the 10 competitors who placed.
