Daniel Allen “Corky” Sullivan, 1941-2021

Daniel Allen “Corky” Sullivan, 80, passed away Aug. 20, 2021 of complications of COVID-19.

He was born April 22, 1941 in Corpus Christi. He served in the Navy and Air Force during the Vietnam era. He was active in Alcoholics Anonymous for 50 years, where he was a popular speaker well into his later years. He was also a college teacher and a high school technical director, having retired in 2006.

A resident of Quitman for many years, he had recently moved to Mineola for health reasons. He was survived by his wife, Marjorie Sullivan, four children and seven grandchildren.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
