Thousands of collectible comic books and trading cards will be up for sale at the Mineola Comic Market, Saturday Nov. 9 at the Annex, 119 N. Johnson Street.

The  market runs from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. with free admission.

Several comic dealers will be on-site to buy, sell and trade comic books and related collectibles. Free comics and art will also be available to all attendees.

“We really wanted to put on a true comic book show,” market organizer Kevin McCarley said. “We want this to be a family-friendly environment that celebrates comic books and offers something to everyone.”

McCarley added that all dealers are knowledgeable and reputable with years of experience buying and selling from the public.

“This is our second comic show in Mineola,” McCarley said. “The first was a huge success, and I feel East Texas has a lot of interest in comic collecting, and we wanted to fill a much-needed gap in true comic shows in the area.”
