A-G breaks even at Tyler Invitational
The Alba-Golden Lady Panthers had Tuesday off last week but competed in the Tyler Invitational this past weekend.
The Lady Panthers competed in pool play Thursday taking second place in Pool C. Alba-Golden defeated Elkhart and Sulphur Springs in two sets each but dropped a three-game match against Longview.
Saturday saw Alba-Golden play in the Gold Bracket. The Lady Panthers defeated Pine Tree in two sets but dropped matches to White Oak and New Diana.
The Lady Panthers (9-6) visit Mabank-Cayuaga Tuesday evening and compete in the Brownsboro Tournament during the weekend.
