City seeks nominees for Mr. and Mrs. Sesquicentennial
As part of the city of Mineola’s sesquicentennial celebration during 2023, a Mr. and Mrs. Sesquicentennial will be named to represent the city throughout the year.
Nominations are being accepted from residents of the Mineola school district who are 60 or older.
Nominations require a photo, $100 nomination fee and essay on the nominee’s history and community service.
Nominations should be dropped off at Mineola City Hall in a sealed envelope or mailed to the Sesquicentennial Committee, PO Box 179, Mineola TX 75773.
Deadline is March 31, and the coronation will be held April 29 at the Mineola Civic Center.
