Car found in lake stolen from Killeen
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car in the water at Lake Hawkins on Wednesday, April 7.
The car was found to be unoccupied and was retrieved.
Sgt. Bowring was able to identify the juveniles involved and has been working with the Killeen Police Department, where the vehicle was reported stolen.
Quitman Fire and Rescue and Precinct Three Constable John McQueen assisted the sheriff’s department at the scene.
