Bulldogs earn all-district football honors
Eight Quitman Bulldogs were named to post season honors on the District 9-3A Division II all district team. District champion West Rusk and runner-up Harmony dominated the team.

Bulldogs earn all-district football honors
Eight Quitman Bulldogs were named to post season honors on the District 9-3A Division II all district team. District champion West Rusk and runner-up Harmony dominated the team.
Senior Hunter Batchelder was the only Quitman player to receive first team honors. Batchelder was named first team utility player. Batchelder has been a mainstay on the Quitman offensive and defensive line for three years. He played tackle and center on offense and anchored the defensive line.
Quitman’s Ford Tannebaum earned honors on offense and defense. The junior was named second team offense as a receiver and defense for his play at safety. Also named to second team defense were lineman Christian “CJ” James, outside linebacker Wyatt Hightower and defensive back Alex Burman. Also on the second team was kicker Mariano Lara-Manriguez.
Named honorable mention were offensive lineman Jonathan Lacy and defensive linebacker Brennen Miller.
