Anthony Maurice Malone 1955-2020

Anthony Malone lost his battle to cancer on Jan. 29, 2020. Anthony was born in Terrell to Maurice Collins of Mineola and Margaret A. Malone of Terrell. He was the oldest of seven children. He received his early education in the Burnett School System and graduated from Terrell High School in 1973. He attended Paul Quinn College, where he received his bachelor of science degree in education in 1978.

Public viewing was held Feb. 7, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at Dubose Funeral Home in Terrell. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 8, 2020 at St. James AME Church in Terrell. Interment followed at New Oakwood Cemetery in Terrell.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
