Alice St. John, 1939-2020
Services for Alice St. John, 81, of Quitman, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020 at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. David Hendricks officiating.
Interment followed in Pilgrim Rest #2 Cemetery, Golden.
Mrs. St. John passed Aug. 1, 2020 in Mineola. She was born July 28, 1939 in Memphis, Tenn. to Earl Franklin and Mary Virginia Williams Holliman. On July 16, 1955, Alice married Jeff David St. John, Jr. in Marshall. She had lived the past eight years in the Wood County area and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Port Arthur. She was a pastor’s wife and always very active in the Women’s Missionary Auxiliary. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one great-granddaughter, Leiya.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Jeff St. John, Jr. of Golden; son, David St. John of Tomball; daughter, Sabrina Hendricks and husband David of Golden; sister, Linda Cook of Onalaska; five grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home in Alba.
