Fall back in time at Alba’s first Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 12. Enjoy a full day of free fun for the entire family. Contests, live music, kids’ activities, dancing and more is sure to keep you delighted and busy past sundown.

Starting at 9:30 a.m., watch the parade roll through downtown. Cash prizes will be awarded for the best themed float, fall decorated float and antique ride.

Before setting out your chairs, drop off your canned and baked goods for the contest at the Alba Library & Museum. Judging will begin at 11 and winners will be announced at noon. After judging, items will be auctioned as a fundraiser benefiting the library.

Cash prizes for first and second place in both categories of baking and canning will be awarded.

DJ David Cormican will keep the vibe up and beat going with music and announcements on the stage from 10-1.

Cheer on your favorite racer at an exhibition race by the Barstool Racers from Ben Wheeler at 11.

Grab a snack from one of the food vendors and sit back to enjoy the music. On the stage, Swoapes Music will be playing from 1-3 and Dakota Ritter Band from 3-6.

Craft vendors will be selling their wares all day, and the Alba Ladies Club will be having a silent auction. Put your bid on your favorite item.

A bungee jump and bounce house will be available for the little ones to jump out their energy.

Give a donation and pick up a fish dinner from 4-6 at the Fire Department Fish Fry. All proceeds will benefit the Alba Volunteer Fire Department.

Then bring your chairs and coolers to closeout the festival while listening to the Todd Brewer Band at the street dance.
