The Alba-Golden ISD  School Board approved advertising for a bid on paving work at the planned turnarounds to be constructed on County Road 2377 just north of the school. 

In additional actions Monday, Dec. 16, the board accepted the resignation of kindergarten teacher Jennifer Edgar and the hire of history teacher Dylan Gray. It is foreseen that Gray will replace long-time history teacher Mark Thompson, who will be retiring.

The board also designated Finance Director Donald ‘Beau’ Shelby as the district’s investment officer. Shelby was officially recognized to facilitate his work with TexPool, the government investment pool which manages Alba-Golden’s accounts.
